Ever since Andrea was little she has always had a desire to create. In high school, she started making beaded jewelry for fun and eventually wanted to create her own beads. Her fascination with melting things with fire left her wanting to make glass beads.
She attended her first glass- bead making class in 2001 and, since then, she has been addicted to working with glass. She has also taken classes in glass fusing and has worked as a glass carver and etcher in Sarasota, Florida. She also attended the Ringling School of Art to enhance her knowledge of botanical and sculptural art. Using various techniques she is able to create hand-made original glass jewelry for you to enjoy.
Every piece of glass is made by hand. Using kiln and torch temperatures in excess of 2000 degrees F. The glass is then annealed in a kiln to ensure maximum strength.
